Norcada Appoints New CEO

Norcada Appointing Hooman Hosseinkhannazer as Chief Executive Officer
Edmonton, AB, March 3, 2023 Norcada announced today that Hooman Hosseinkhannazer has been appointed as the new CEO. Graham McKinnon, cofounder and president since Norcada’s inception in 2001, will be moving into a board of director position.
“The board and executive team have decided that this will set the company on a good trajectory for our future expansion and success”, said Graham McKinnon. “I am looking forward to working with Hooman in his new position as CEO of Norcada. Hooman has been participating as a senior member of our executive team for some time and is well-versed in the operation of the company. With this appointment, Hooman will be in a position to implement exciting new product and corporate strategies at Norcada.”
After completing graduate studies at the University of Albera, Hooman worked in various engineering, management and executive roles in energy, bio-pharma and nanotechnology sectors before joining Norcada in 2010. He has held various positions in R&D, product development and business development roles since then. He has been managing MEMS, Instrumentation and Nano-Bio platforms as Vice President Business Development since 2017. During his tenure at Norcada, he has been instrumental in establishing the company as a leader in MEMS, nanotechnology, genomics, and microanalysis markets.
Dr. Yuebin Ning, currently VP Research and Development, and co-founder of Norcada, will also join the company board of directors. He added “I am excited about the leadership transition, and I am confident the new management team under Hooman will do an excellent job leading Norcada through its next phase of growth.”
