NorGAS-1: Environmental Sensing Module
The NORCADA Environmental Sensing Module is a Tunable Laser (TL) Gas Analyzer at core, and features a highly compact design, making it a perfect for mobile deployment via man operated and autonomous vehicles. The modular system design allows the end-user to load and deploy the fully automated and flight-ready system on a variety of drones for field Operation. The first generation of NORCADA Environmental Sensing Module (NESM) offers our methane emissions measurement system using the NorGAS-1 platform.
NESM is particularly versatile and expandable, with products targeting different gas species such as hydrogen, CO, and CO2. These can be readily launched on the same platform using different wavelength lasers.

Laser Packaging Options
We offer standard TO style packaging and fiber-coupled packaging for our laser products depending on the customers applications. TO style packaging options include TO37, TO39 (TO5), and TO66. All standard packages come with miniature Thermo Electric Cooler (TEC) inside the package to maintain laser temperature stability.
The Butterfly-style package offers the customers fiber-coupled laser output in a single-mode optical fibre which is terminated with a FC/APC type of connector.
Custom Packaging Available
Norcada offers packaging services to customers who have special packaging requirements for their photonic products, including high shock resistance packaging, fiber coupling of long wavelength mid IR lasers up to 6µm, and packaging with integrated collimation lenses.
