Norcada receives product development grant from nanoBridge

Norcada Inc., a MEMS and photonic product company, has been awarded a beta-stage product development grant to assist the company’s effort in developing the next generation MEMS chips for in-Situ TEM applications.
“We are delighted to be awarded this major research grant from the nano-Bridge funding program, this will accelerate the pace of our product development effort significantly over the next 12 months.” said Dr. Yuebin Ning, Vice President Research at Norcada.
Norcada specializes in the development and manufacturing of MEMS devices (www.norcada.com) and semiconductor DFB lasers (www.norcada-lasers.com) for a wide range of industrial and scientific applications.
Founded in 2002, Norcada has a state-of-the-art MEMS and photonics fabrication facility in Edmonton, Alberta, home to a major nanotechnology cluster in Canada.
