Norcada provides high-quality ultra-clean silicon nitride membrane windows for the X-ray microscopy and TEM analysis research communities.

• The silicon nitride membrane is robust and low stress (<250MPa), and is ideally suited for a wide range of microscopy and spectroscopy work such as TEM, X-ray, IR and UV.
  
  
• Standard silicon nitride membrane windows are fabricated on 200µm thick square silicon support frames (2.65mm, 5mm, 7.5mm, and 10mm).
  
  
• Standard nitride window sizes include 0.25mm, 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 3.0mm, and 5.0mm.  Nitride thickness available range from 15nm to 1000nm.
   
  
• All nitride windows are cleaned vigorously to remove any organic residue, and carefully inspected and packaged to make sure particle contamination is minimal.

Norcada also provides Specialty Membrane Windows such as All Silicon membrane windows for  Nitrogen Free anaylisis and High Stress Stoichiometric silicon nitride membrane windows for quantum nano mechanical studies.
